What we clean

  • Wood decks and stairs
  • Composite and Trex decking
  • Privacy, picket and cable fences
  • Railings, pergolas and lattice skirting
  • Fences before they are stained or sealed

Clean wood, not chewed-up wood

High pressure furs the grain and leaves wand marks that never sand out, so decks and fences get low pressure and a wood-safe cleaning solution that does the work. The solution brightens gray, weathered boards and removes mildew and algae, then everything is rinsed clean. Trex and other composite decking is cleaned per manufacturer guidance so the cap and finish are protected.

A clean, fully dry deck is the only surface stain or sealer will bond to properly - cleaning first is the difference between a finish that lasts and one that peels in a season. Railings, stairs and pergolas are included, and a house wash or driveway cleaning can be done in the same visit.

FAQs

Deck & Fence Cleaning FAQ

Will pressure washing damage my deck?

It can, which is why we do not blast wood. Decks and fences are cleaned with low pressure and a wood-safe cleaning solution, so the grain stays smooth and there are no wand marks. Brick, stone and stucco and sandstone get the same low-pressure care.

Can you clean composite decking like Trex?

Yes. Composite is cleaned according to manufacturer guidance to protect the cap layer and keep any warranty intact. Composite pool decks and coping too.

Should I clean the deck before staining or sealing?

Always. Stain and sealer only bond to clean, dry wood. Cleaning first is the difference between a finish that lasts and one that peels in a season. Send the property address and we will schedule the wash ahead of your painter.

How is a deck or fence quoted?

By the surface we clean - and the railings, stairs and pergolas are counted in, not added later. Most decks are quoted the same day from property imagery. If you are staining or sealing afterward, say so: the wash is scheduled ahead of your painter on the same quote, not squeezed in after.
